1. Search before creating issues.
2. Put every issue in the Writing contract, Independent dogfood, or Distribution milestone.
3. Move work to `In Progress` when it starts and `Done` only after verification.
4. Close the loop with concise evidence before ending a session.
5. Prefer Linear-generated branch names.

## Product rules

- `shared/METHODOLOGY.md` is the source of truth.
- Keep `skills/pr-writing/SKILL.md` under about 100 lines.
- Preserve the 50/72 message shape and the what-and-why contract.
- Record two independent dogfoods before a major release.
- Run the linter and package validator before publishing.
