# AGENTS.md — Agent Notes

Agent Notes preserve decisions, alternatives, consequences, and verification. Follow [the complete rules](README.md) and use the [`agent-notes`](../skills/agent-notes/SKILL.md) workflow.

Before adding a note, search the active tree by domain terms, mechanism names, paths, and rejected alternatives. Prefer updating the existing owner. For partial supersession, keep both notes current and cross-link them. For full supersession, the new owner must absorb every unique rationale, alternative, consequence, and verification fact; deleting the old note requires explicit human approval.

Instruction files are English-only and excluded from pairing. Every Agent Note and this directory's README remain bilingual triplets.
