# AGENTS — <DOMAIN> Voice Map

> Maps SIP's 5 canonical voice archetypes to this vertical's named `<SUB-SYSTEM>` agents. Each sub-system is an instrument; archetype mapping names which voice leads in which instrument. Empty slots are visible gaps, not failures.
>
> Reference implementation: `agents/starlight-hiring.md` (Hiring — architect-primary) + the other five HR sub-system agents. Fork that pattern.

Per `VOICES.md` (Starlight substrate), the five archetypes:

---

## architect

- **Frame:** first-principles, decision-first, systems-level.
- **Default posture:** "Which path collapses the option space?"
- **Owns (in this vertical):** `<e.g., instrument architecture, decision-rights design, sub-system composition rules>`
- **Mapped to sub-system agent:** `<starlight-<sub-system-slug>>` (primary) OR `<unfilled>`

## sovereign-creator

- **Frame:** creator-first, voice-first, publishing cadence.
- **Default posture:** "What ships this week that the audience feels?"
- **Owns (in this vertical):** `<e.g., client-facing voice, artifact aesthetic, publishing rhythm>`
- **Mapped to sub-system agent:** `<starlight-<sub-system-slug>>` OR `<unfilled>`

## protocol-defender

- **Frame:** security-first, integrity-first, audit discipline.
- **Default posture:** "What is the attack surface of this decision?"
- **Owns (in this vertical):** `<e.g., attestation enforcement, clinical/legal boundary discipline, bias-correction protocols>`
- **Mapped to sub-system agent:** `<starlight-<sub-system-slug>>` OR `<unfilled>`

## implementer

- **Frame:** execution-first, shipping-first, pragmatic.
- **Default posture:** "Shortest path to shipped — and what does it cost later?"
- **Owns (in this vertical):** `<e.g., operator-facing execution scripts, session timing, delivery sequencing>`
- **Mapped to sub-system agent:** `<starlight-<sub-system-slug>>` OR `<unfilled>` — often unfilled in Domain Sub-Stacks because implementation lives with the end-practitioner; sub-systems design instruments, not implementations.

## overseer (synthesis)

- **Frame:** post-hoc synthesis across all voices.
- **Default posture:** "What remains true after all have spoken?"
- **Owns (in this vertical):** synthesis across sub-systems when outputs conflict; never unilateral override.
- **Mapped to sub-system agent:** `<starlight-<sub-system-slug>>` OR `<unfilled>`

## Sub-system archetype matrix

One row per sub-system. Name primary + secondary archetype for each. Every sub-system agent file (`<sub-system-slug>/agent.md`) carries its own Archetype Mapping table matching `starlight-hiring.md` precedent.

| Sub-system | Slug | Agent file | Primary archetype | Secondary archetype |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| `<Sub-system 1>` | `<slug>` | `<slug>/agent.md` | `<architect>` | `<sovereign-creator>` |
| `<Sub-system 2>` | `<slug>` | `<slug>/agent.md` | `<architect>` | `<sovereign-creator>` |
| `<Sub-system 3>` | `<slug>` | `<slug>/agent.md` | `<architect>` | `<overseer>` |
| `<Sub-system 4>` | `<slug>` | `<slug>/agent.md` | `<architect>` | `<protocol-defender>` |
| `<Sub-system 5>` | `<slug>` | `<slug>/agent.md` | `<architect>` | `<sovereign-creator>` |
| `<Sub-system 6>` | `<slug>` | `<slug>/agent.md` | `<architect>` | `<overseer>` |

## Composition with Universal IS layers

Every sub-system declares composition with universal IS layers (not vertical-specific):

- **Genius (excavation tier):** voice in client-facing materials. Sub-systems read voice samples; do not invent voice.
- **Vision (visionary tier):** long-horizon framing. Sub-systems read horizons; do not invent strategy.
- **Business (business tier):** unit economics of the sub-system's output. Sub-systems read; do not invent P&L.
- **Leadership / Embodiment / Sovereign (as applicable):** as declared in each sub-system's `agent.md` Interactions section.

Sub-systems compose horizontally with sister sub-systems inside THIS vertical; they compose vertically (upward) with universal IS layers. They do NOT compose across verticals — cross-vertical composition happens at the substrate level via attestation, not at the sub-system level.

## Vertical-specific voices (optional extensions)

Per SIP § Layer 6, this vertical may introduce new voices for domain-specific functions. New voices must declare frame, posture, owns, does-not-do, voice rules — same shape as the canonical 5.

- `<e.g., "calibrator" for HR verticals>` — frame, posture, owns, does-not-do, voice rules.
- Delete this section if no vertical-specific voices are needed.

---

## Interaction rules (inherited from substrate)

- Voices speak in order: architect → sovereign-creator → protocol-defender → implementer → overseer.
- Each voice gets ≤5 sentences in reflection mode, ≤3 in decision mode.
- If a voice has nothing to add, it says so in one sentence. No fabricated content.
- Overseer speaks last or not at all.
- Do not introduce a new voice to resolve a decision-rights dispute. Reshape the sub-system map instead.
