# Foreman by Turki Alshuaibi

> A build playbook that turns a coding agent into the foreman of a website build. It interviews the owner, forces the design and scope decisions, locks a visual system, writes one build brief, then builds the site or hands the brief to a coding agent, and verifies, ships and indexes it. Foreman is an Agent Skill, distributed as a Claude Code plugin and as a plain folder of markdown that works with any agent that reads files. It contains no executable code: no scripts, no hooks, no MCP servers, no network calls.

- {{steps}} gated steps: orient, decide, lock the look, write the brief, build, verify, ship, index.
- {{modes}} modes: Survey (the fewest questions; the agent researches the repo, site and CV and sends one decision sheet with a source on every line), Blueprint (the default, the full interview) and Stress test (every answer pushed once). Every decision is made in all three.
- {{tools}} tools that run on their own: board (reference sites chosen for a brief), punch list (an audit of any site for what makes it look AI-generated or unfinished), palette (colours from a named material, contrast checked) and launch (domain, DNS, SSL, metadata, sitemap, indexing). In Claude Code: /foreman:board, /foreman:punch-list, /foreman:palette, /foreman:launch.
- {{references}} references loaded only when their step arrives, including design standards (colour theory, proportion and the golden ratio, type scale and measure, spacing, gestalt, motion timing, optical correction), and {{assets}} fillable templates.

Its governing claim is that the quality of an agent's output is bounded by the quality of the brief it was given, so the work of a good build is decision-making rather than typing.
