Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# AGENTS.md — Proposed Agent Notes A proposed Agent Note is an approved target, not permission to start implementation automatically. For substantial feature, architecture, process, or simplification work, the current Spec PR head must have an explicit human `APPROVED` review before an implementation layer starts. Implementation PRs may stack on the unmerged Spec branch. Each layer links the Spec PR and declares the `AC` IDs it covers. A material change to behavior, ownership, acceptance criteria, alternatives, or risks belongs on the Spec branch, invalidates prior approval, and must be approved again before implementation continues. Before moving a Spec, inspect `gh stack view --json` and the actual verification on every downstack implementation PR. Intermediate layers keep the triplet here. Only the final layer whose cumulative evidence covers every approved `AC` moves it to `implemented/`; branch position alone is insufficient. Discussion edits and `CHANGES_REQUESTED` do not reject a Spec. Only an explicit human decision may move it to `rejected/`.

How to install
mdr add cherryhq/cherry-studio/.agents/notes/proposed/AGENTS.md@sha256:dd6c2bb46705813cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261017.46ef0b8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
