- Descriptive lowercase Markdown files – maintained concepts, entities, comparisons, and synthesis.
- `reading/` – private maintained sources for explicitly reviewed public Reading entries.

# Guidelines

- Give one independently reusable concept, entity, comparison, or synthesis a page. Update an existing page for refinements of the same subject.
- Declare `type: concept` for a reusable idea with a maintained definition or `type: note` for other maintained synthesis.
- Give repository-related knowledge a bounded `repository_scopes` list of exact normalized repository-relative files or directories. Do not use globs.
- Lead with the current synthesis, then distinguish sourced facts, interpretation, contradictions, and open questions where that distinction matters.
- Link the source-bearing capture, report, plan, or external source behind material claims.
- Store a typed outbound assertion only when this note's prose or evidence establishes it. Do not author reciprocal or inferred relationships.
- Treat agent-written synthesis as maintained and revisable, not as a replacement for its sources.
- Keep Reading drafts and public projection rules under `reading/AGENTS.md`; ordinary notes do not become public implicitly.
