UML-MCP is a Python MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that renders diagrams from text: PlantUML UML, Mermaid, D2, Graphviz, Kroki-backed types (30+ diagram kinds), with SVG/PNG/PDF/JPEG and base64 outputs. Pipeline: Kroki first, then PlantUML or Mermaid.ink fallbacks.

## Frontend streaming (AG-UI)
UML-MCP exposes a canonical `POST /ag-ui` endpoint for standard AG-UI clients and keeps the older direct-render helpers at `POST /ag-ui/generate` and `POST /ag-ui/start` -> `GET /ag-ui/events/{run_id}`. The canonical route uses camelCase AG-UI wire fields and the standard tool-call lifecycle. See docs/integrations/frontend.md.

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
