# Working rules for this repository Rules for any agent working here — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor or a person. `CLAUDE.md` is a single `@AGENTS.md` import, so Claude Code reads this file itself rather than a summary of it that can drift. **This repository is public and Apache-2.0.** Most of what follows exists because of that one fact: whatever lands here is published, and publication is the step that cannot be undone by a later commit. ## 1. Skills arrive one of two ways, and never by hand - **Authored here.** `skills/<name>/SKILL.md`, plus `scripts/`, `references/` and `assets/` as needed. These are the repository's own work and ship under its licence. - **Installed from elsewhere.** Added with the installer, never hand-copied, so [`skills-lock.json`](./skills-lock.json) stays the single source of truth for what is installed and at which hash. The canonical copy lives under `.agents/skills/<name>/`, symlinked into each agent's directory. `.agents/skills/` is tracked, which makes it the trap: a skill installed there to *use* is published on the next push.
