# AGENTS.md — Reticle

The rules for every agent and every person who changes this repository. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Copilot and OpenCode all read this file. `CLAUDE.md` imports it. Humans start with [`CONTRIBUTING.md`](CONTRIBUTING.md), which links back here.

## What Reticle is

Reticle is the proof layer for AI agents. It verifies a running app from the inside, without screenshots. The app embeds a development-only SDK. A local bridge and MCP server give an agent tools to look, act, observe and assert.

## Layout

This is one pnpm + turbo monorepo. There is no `packages/` directory.

How to install

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261013.dbd2045, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
