# marketplace-gate — Marketplace Listing Suitability Gate
Evaluates a repository against 5 listing criteria — README completeness, zero-config readiness, maintenance signals, duplication, and public safety — and outputs a listing suitability verdict.

### Check 5 — Public Safety
+ **Primary path (no-reinvention)**: when `public-surface-audit` is installed, run it against
+ `$REPO_PATH` and map its verdict — `LEAK` → **BLOCKED** · `REVIEW` → **WARNING** · `CLEAN` → **SAFE**
+ · `NOT_CONFIGURED` → **WARNING(NOT_CONFIGURED)** (pattern source absent — not a clean bill). That
