Project conventions, commands, gotchas, and release rules for this repo live in
`AGENTS.md` at the repository root. Read it before making changes.

Current Cursor versions load root and nested `AGENTS.md` natively, so this rule
is only a pointer for older versions — it deliberately carries no project
knowledge of its own. Do not copy rules from `AGENTS.md` into this file; keep
`AGENTS.md` the single source of truth.

`CLAUDE.md` is a shim that imports `AGENTS.md` for Claude Code. Never record
project knowledge there.
