# @mezzanine-ui/icons

> SVG icon definitions for Mezzanine UI — plain JavaScript objects that are passed to the `<Icon>` component from @mezzanine-ui/react.

## Purpose

Each icon is a plain object of type `IconDefinition` (not a React component). This keeps the package framework-agnostic. To render an icon in React, pass it to the `Icon` component from `@mezzanine-ui/react`.

## Usage

```tsx
import { PlusIcon, CloseIcon, CheckedFilledIcon } from '@mezzanine-ui/icons';
import Icon from '@mezzanine-ui/react/Icon';

<Icon icon={PlusIcon} />
<Icon icon={CloseIcon} color="error" />
<Icon icon={CheckedFilledIcon} />
```

The `Icon` component accepts `icon`, `color`, and `size` props. See `@mezzanine-ui/react` for full prop documentation.
