# Myco > Myco is the nervous system for AI-assisted software teams. It works alongside coding agents, subagents, and agent teams to provide shared project knowledge, semantic codebase awareness, and learned workflows that evolve with the project. Myco is not a replacement coding agent or hosted harness. It runs on your machine and works with every git project automatically when you use a supported agent, capturing development sessions into a local Grove and routing useful context back to the agents a team already uses. Local Grove data remains the source of truth. Optional Team Host lets a team join one teammate's Myco directly, connect their projects, and expose team knowledge to non-member agents through a secure read-only MCP endpoint. macOS is the supported path. Linux and Windows are in beta (Windows x64 only). ## Start here - [Homepage](https://myco.sh/): Product overview, install command, feature summary, and supported agents. - [Quickstart](https://myco.sh/quickstart.md): Install Myco, open the local dashboard, configure providers, and understand what happens after setup. - [README](https://github.com/goondocks-co/myco/blob/main/README.md): Repository overview and release-facing product framing. ## Core concepts - [Skills](https://myco.sh/skills.md): How accumulated project knowledge becomes reviewed workflows that connected agents can follow. - [Symbionts](https://myco.sh/symbionts.md): How Myco connects to supported coding agents, including Cline, while preserving each agent's native workflow. - [Canopy](https://myco.sh/canopy.md): Codebase awareness that helps agents understand files and architecture before they read deeply. - [Grove management](https://myco.sh/groves.md): How users organize projects into Groves, move/archive projects, and control per-project capabilities. - [Agent tools](https://myco.sh/agent-tools.md): MCP tools and slash-command skills available to connected agents. - [Agent harness](https://myco.sh/agent-harness.md): Background intelligence work that extracts spores, summaries, digests, and evolving skills. ## Team features - [Team Host](https://myco.sh/team-host.md): Join a teammate's Myco as your Team Host, connect projects, and expose team knowledge to non-member agents through a read-only MCP endpoint. - [Collective](https://myco.sh/collective.md): Cross-project search and shared settings for multiple connected projects (not currently integrated with the daemon). ## Operations - [Local service lifecycle](https://myco.sh/lifecycle.md): What gets captured, how the local service behaves, and what to do when something needs attention. - [Upgrade guide](https://myco.sh/upgrade.md): Upgrade Myco, preserve existing agent settings, and verify the install. - [Install script for macOS and Linux](https://myco.sh/install.sh): Shell installer. Linux support is in beta. - [Install script for Windows](https://myco.sh/install.ps1): PowerShell installer. Windows support is in beta (x64 only). ## Optional - [Migrating from OAK](https://myco.sh/migrating-from-oak.md): Import OAK activity history into Myco when relevant. - [GitHub repository](https://github.com/goondocks-co/myco): Source code, issues, releases, and package details.
