description: UPIIXIA Agentic Kit — multi-agent coordination (AGENTS.md + mode)
alwaysApply: true
---
Read and apply `AGENTS.md` once per session, then `.uak/modes/<mode>.md` (the mode is in `.uak/PROJECT.md`).
- Start: `bash .uak/bin/uak next`. Take a task: `bash .uak/bin/wt new ID --agent NAME`, then work ONLY inside that worktree.
- `.cursor/hooks.json` guards shell commands, caps subagents (tiers: Composer 2.5 swarms, your model leads, Opus advises) and flushes the black box. Heartbeats are manual: every ~10 min and after each criterion run `bash .uak/bin/uak heartbeat ID` and `bash .uak/bin/uak inbox`. Reply with `uak msg`.
- Big outputs: a `preToolUse` hook wraps tests, builds, linters and read-only git/search commands; an output over 12k chars reaches you as head + tail (a diff: a per-file index with line ranges) + the path of the full log. On Windows the command runs as `bash …/cap --b64 …`: that is the wrap, not an error. Read the log by ranges (`sed -n`, `grep -n`); rerun with `UAK_RAW=1` only if you need everything. Small outputs are unchanged.
- Do not poll: `= unchanged` from `uak status`/`next`/`inbox` means nothing new; to wait for a review, a dependency or a reply run `bash .uak/bin/uak wait ID --for approve|integrated|message` once. `LOOP:` means stop retrying.
+ - MCP (optional, `.cursor/mcp.json`): the same commands are also tools (`uak_next`, `uak_claim`, `uak_ship`, `uak_wait`, `uak_message`, `uak_map`, `uak_memory`, `uak_cli`), with the same state and gates, so use either. Prefer the tools for message text with quotes, `$` or accents (no shell quoting, notably PowerShell) and `uak_wait` for long waits (progress, cancellable). In the main checkout pass `agent`.
- Explore with the code map before opening files: `bash .uak/bin/uak map show`, `map find NAME`, `map users FILE`. A trap the next agent should know: `uak learn "what · where · what to do"`.
- Plan usage: Cursor has no 5-hour signal. Copy your dashboard once: `bash .uak/bin/uak pace set USED --resets +Nd --window 30d`, then follow `uak pace`.
- If a guard is not active (hooks off): before any destructive or publishing command run `bash .uak/bin/guard check "<command>"`. Exit 2 means do not run it.
- Phase scripts live in `.claude/commands/uak-*.md`. Read the one for your phase (start, loop, ship, review, handoff).
