# NeuralMind > Persistent, 100% local memory for AI coding agents. NeuralMind learns your codebase the way a senior engineer would — what files go together, what you usually edit next, what patterns matter — and compresses tool output before the model reads it. Key facts, each backed by a runnable eval (raw traces committed): - Cheaper context: 79–100% gold-file recall (93.75% mean, 90% found-rate across 40 queries) at 45–257× fewer tokens than pasting files; beats ripgrep on cost on every repo, and on recall beats it on 2 of 4 repos and ties exactly on the other 2 (public benchmark on `requests`, `click`, `flask`, `rich`; `click` is NeuralMind's weakest repo at 0.79 recall).
