# AGENTS.md
供接触本 repo 的贡献者和 AI agents 使用的操作手册。打开 PR 前请先阅读。
本 repo 是一套课程，而不是 SaaS app。课程就是产品。下面每条规则都是为了让 523 节课长期保持一致。

## 理念
523 lessons. 20 phases.（523 节课。20 个 phase。）每个算法都先从原始数学出发构建，然后才导入任何 framework。你会在 Python、TypeScript、Rust 或 Julia 中手写 backprop、Tokenizer、Attention 机制和 agent loop。然后你再用生产级 library 运行同一操作，让 framework 不再是黑箱。“Build It / Use It” 的分离是主线。每节课都会交付一个可复用 artifact，可接入你的日常工作流。

## 硬性规则
1. **每个 lesson directory 一个 commit。** 永远不要把多节课合并到一个 commit。一个 10-lesson PR 应该有 10 个 commits。
2. **Conventional commit subjects** ≤72 chars：`feat(phase-NN/MM): <slug>`。Body 解释为什么，而不是做了什么。
3. 图示**只允许 Mermaid 或 SVG**。不要使用 ASCII / Unicode box-drawing。
4. **每个 fenced code block 都需要 language tag。** 按需使用 `text`、`json`、`python`、`typescript`、`rust`、`julia`、`bash`、`console`、`mermaid`、`yaml`。
5. **只允许原创实现。** 不要在 docs、code comments 或 commit text 中引用外部 curriculum repos。当 RFCs、official specs 和 academic papers 是权威来源时，可以引用它们。
6. **Dependency allowlist**（见下方 `Dependencies`）。Stdlib-first。
7. **永远不要 commit 生成文件**：`catalog.json` 已 gitignored，`site/data.js` 由 CI 重建，`package-lock.json` 永不追踪。
8. **强烈要求：解释每个关键专业名词。** 每节课首次引入会影响理解的术语时，必须在正文就近追加简明解释，避免学习者在阅读过程中被未定义名词卡住；如果该术语会被多节 lesson 复用，同时补充到 `glossary/terms.md`。

必须正好 6 个问题：1 个 pre + 3 个 check + 2 个 post。`correct` 使用从零开始的索引。site renderer 只理解这种形状，旧版 `q/choices/answer` schemas 会静默崩溃。
### Assessment design
- **课中检查：** 每节课在关键概念、公式推导、代码实现或框架切换之后，穿插 2-4 个短问题，用来观察学习者是否真的跟上。问题应聚焦常见误解、边界条件或“为什么这样做”，不要只考术语背诵。
- **课后深练习：** 每节课结尾必须安排 2-3 个有深度的课后题或小作业，帮助学习者把本课 artifact 迁移到新场景。优先设计需要修改代码、解释现象、比较方案、诊断错误或扩展实现的任务，并给出清晰的验收标准或预期观察。
- **Lesson 结束巩固：** 每节课讲解结束后必须有一个明确的收束段，帮助学习者把本课内容沉淀下来。至少包含本课核心概念回顾、关键术语复盘、1-2 个自检问题，以及它如何连接到下一节课；Build lesson 还要说明本课 artifact 能做什么、如何验证它已经跑通。
- **Phase 综合考核：** 每个 phase 完成后，必须提供一组更大的综合题，用来检查学习者对本 phase 的整体掌握。综合题应跨越多节课，覆盖数学理解、手写实现、framework 使用、调试能力和设计取舍；可以放在该 phase 的 capstone lesson、最后一节 lesson，或专门的 phase review artifact 中。
- **深度优先：** 所有检查题都服务于掌握程度判断。避免“看过就能答”的记忆题，优先让学习者解释原因、预测结果、定位 bug、改造 artifact，或把同一个概念迁移到未见过的数据和约束下。
### code/
- 使用该 language 的规范命令端到端运行，并以 0 退出。
- Demo 必须自行终止。不要有无限 stdin loops，也不要因为缺少 API keys 而 hang。
- 4-6 行 header comment，引用本 lesson 的 `docs/en.md` 路径，以及任何 spec 或 RFC 来源。
### code/tests/
- 至少 5 个 unit tests。
- 通过该 language 的 stdlib runner 运行（`python3 -m unittest discover`、`npx tsx --test`，Rust/Julia inline）。

**常见 bug**：如果 merge 后 `grep -c 'tree/main/phases/NN-' site/data.js` 为 0，说明 Phase NN README rows 是纯文本，缺少 `[Title](phases/NN-...)` markdown link。`site/build.js` 会从该 link 推导 URL。

避免对带有 open review comments 的 branch 执行 `git push --force`。Force-push 会让这些 comments 脱离上下文。
