# Practice profile: Family Law — UAE

## Scope

Family Law skills under the law of UAE. Practice-area definition (`practices.json`, jurisdiction-agnostic): family law: divorce/dissolution, custody and support (child/spousal), property division (incl. QDRO dividing retirement benefits in divorce), prenuptial agreements, parenting plans, domestic violence protection (DVRO), paternity, guardianship/conservatorship proceedings over incapacitated adults (Betreuungsverfahren).
