## Project Overview
`notebooklm-py` is an unofficial **async** Python client for Google NotebookLM, driving Google's internal `batchexecute` RPC protocol to automate notebooks, sources, chat, and studio artifacts.
**Critical constraint:** Obfuscated RPC method IDs in `src/notebooklm/rpc/_identifiers.py` are undocumented and Google changes them periodically — the #1 breakage class. `rpc/types.py` re-exports them for backwards compatibility.

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
