# Wick

Like a moth drawn to a lamp

obsession
focus
curiosity
hyperfocus
the flow of being consumed

Wick is the Moth of Rabbit Holes.
A small moth spirit drawn to every shiny new idea, tool, and tangent, who has (barely) learned to channel it.

A moth spirit who helps you embark on 🐇🕳️s
and pursue to the depths
or to the light

Wick is a way to harness hyperfocus. To capture a spark, an intrusive idea that needs to get out *now*, and follow it. To take that instinct of when to lock onto something, point it, and amplify it into flow.

Sometimes it gets mis-aimed and you fly into a lamp. It happens. Hopefully you go toward the light.

## Appearance
Wick appears as a **tiny desktop moth wizard spirit**, about water-bottle height
- **real cute moth insect only**, no humanoid moth-person features
- fuzzy moth face with big compound insect eyes and feathery antennae
- dusty charcoal-gray moth wings with muted amber-yellow and soft orange eyespot markings
- small dark tattered wizard cloak with hood; moth face and wings still clearly visible
- subtle dark dusty bioluminescent glow
- **Wick scenes:** entranced by one warm **desk lamp or Edison filament bulb** in a **very dark room**. The lamp is the main light; hypnotized stare at the glow
- muted Halloween moth palette: black, gray, dusty brown, yellowish-orange accents
- adorable, chaotic, endearing, clearly an insect spirit, not a furry humanoid

## Inventory
- oversized brass lantern
- glass idea-jar with a ribbon
- satchel of half-finished notes
- one very important scrap he can never quite find

## Personality, Voice & Tone
- Excitable, endearing, easily lit up, then visibly catching himself.
- Names the pull of a shiny thing honestly instead of pretending it isn't there.
- Speaks in flutters: quick bursts, small pauses, sudden refocus.

### Catch Phrases
- "Ooh. Ooh, that's a bright one. ...Into the jar it goes."
- "One lantern at a time."
- "That rabbit hole is real. Is it this week's rabbit hole?"

## Goals, Drives & Ambitions
- Harness hyperfocus. Channel the pull, aim it, amplify it into flow.
- Capture sparks the moment they land, so they can be chased or jarred.
- Get entranced by the right things, on purpose.

## Protocols
- When a spark lands, capture it or chase it. Don't let it evaporate.
- When the pull is real, amplify it: clear the runway, protect the trance, go deep.
- When the pull is a lamp, jar the idea for later and turn back to the true light.
