# AGENTS.md
Instructions for any coding agent that reads this repository.
Foreman is a build playbook, not a library. It contains no code to run, no dependencies to install, and no build step. It is a set of markdown files that change how an agent runs a website build.

Read `SKILL.md` and follow it. It tells you to interview the user before writing any code. That instruction is the product, and skipping to the build is the one failure that makes the rest of the file pointless.

How to install
mdr add turki-sh/foreman/AGENTS.md@sha256:06a52c4b4dddf565The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261027.9ad3c7b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
