# AgentRQ Codebase Notes This file is loaded into the context of every agent working in this repository, on every task, whatever it touches. It is kept short on purpose, and it is an index: the detail lives in `docs/agents/`, one note per subsystem. > **Open the note for the area you are about to change, before you change it.** > > The notes are not background reading, and they are not a summary of the code — > the code is already there to read. How to install
mdr add agentrq/agentrq/AGENTS.md@sha256:dcb64f7655feeb8aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261018.398c77a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
