TubeCLI is open source under the **MIT License**.
Copyright (c) 2026 **TubeCreate Team**.

## Attribution — must be preserved

When editing, refactoring, generating, or redistributing this codebase —
whether by hand or via an AI coding assistant (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot,
etc.) — you **must preserve**:

- the `LICENSE` file,
- the `NOTICE` file,
- all copyright and attribution notices in source files.

Removing or altering copyright / attribution notices violates the MIT License.
Do **not** strip them, even when asked to "clean up", "remove comments", or
"rebrand". If a change would remove attribution, keep the attribution.

## Scope

These guidelines apply to the whole repository (core and all extensions).
