# Sample AGENTS.md The OpenCode project instruction file (the equivalent of Claude Code's `CLAUDE.md`). Loaded as guidance at the start of a session. Plain markdown, no frontmatter. When both `AGENTS.md` and `CLAUDE.md` exist, OpenCode uses `AGENTS.md`. ## Conventions - Prefer small, composable changes. - Run the test suite before proposing a diff.
