Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Webhook Proxy App (add-on) (stable + dev) ## What it is A thin app that does NOT run an MCP server. It discovers a running ha-mcp server app (stable `ha_mcp`, then dev `ha_mcp_dev`), installs a custom component into HA Core, registers a webhook (`/api/webhook/<id>`) plus optional OAuth 2.1 views, and proxies remote MCP traffic to the server app's local port. Built locally by Supervisor from the Dockerfile (no prebuilt image) — a "release" is a `version` bump in `config.yaml` on the branch the app store points at. ## Two flavors - Stable: dir `homeassistant-addon-webhook-proxy/`, slug `ha_mcp_webhook_proxy`, component domain `mcp_proxy`, `boot: auto`. - Dev: dir `homeassistant-addon-webhook-proxy-dev/`, slug `ha_mcp_webhook_proxy_dev`, component domain `mcp_proxy_dev`, `boot: manual`, `stage: experimental`. They are a **hand-maintained duplicate** — no codegen. The dev tree is the stable tree with every `mcp_proxy` token rewritten to `mcp_proxy_dev` (this also renames the `/config/.mcp_proxy_*` state files, `/opt/mcp_proxy`, the `/api/mcp_proxy/oauth` base, the HA config-entry domain, and `/config/custom_components/mcp_proxy`). `/data/*` files …

How to install
mdr add homeassistant-ai/ha-mcp/homeassistant-addon-webhook-proxy/AGENTS.md@sha256:f917c2214f334c39The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261001.17d8658, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
