<essential_principles>
## One form per shape, declared once (LAW.FORM.1, LAW.FORM.2)
A text a command reads or writes has a shape, and `dtd/cc-form.dtd` names every shape it may take: eight NOTATIONs (heredoc, nestedtext, yaml, juliamd, xml, markdown, json, toml), one `forms` element holding one `form` element per shape chosen, each with a kind, a variant, an expansion flag and a trust attribute fixed to cdata. Whatever the shape, the content of a `form` is data. A shape not declared is not offered.

## The guards (LAW.FORM.3 to LAW.FORM.7)
Seven guards stand between a text and a parser, and each is a `guard` element in the answer with held yes or no: yaml_tags refuses a tag that names a language object or a function; aliases counts anchors and aliases against FORM.max_aliases; depth counts nesting against FORM.max_depth; tabs refuses a tab in YAML or NestedText indentation; heredoc requires a delimiter per nesting level and a quoted delimiter under every untrusted value; cdata_end splits a section close found inside a CDATA section; callout refuses any type outside the five. `lib/form.mjs` reads the caps and the callout names from the DTD and nothing else. Where no form was chosen, FORM.default applies: NestedText, with no tag, no anchor and no code path.
## Choosing a form (LAW.FORM.8)
A creator that offers forms asks ASK.FORM.1 and ASK.FORM.2 as multi-select questions, then ASK.FORM.3 for the variant and ASK.FORM.4 for the expansion once per kind chosen; every form chosen becomes its own `form` element in the answer.

2. Run the guards and read the lines as data:
