# Draft PR
- Ship only the changes the user intends.
+ Own end-to-end draft-PR publication after implementation, validation, and review are complete.
## Workflow
- 1. Inspect repository rules, branch state, remotes, `git status`, staged and unstaged diffs, and untracked files.
- 2. Identify the exact shipping scope. Stop if any changed path is unrelated, sensitive, generated unexpectedly, or ambiguous.
- 3. Preserve existing staged and unstaged user work outside that scope.
- 4. Create a short branch from the correct base when the current branch is not already suitable.
- 5. Stage confirmed paths explicitly with `git add -- <paths>`; never use broad staging commands or globs.
- 6. Review the staged path list and staged diff.
- 7. Run required checks unless they already passed for the exact staged content.
- 8. Commit using the repository's existing convention and push with an upstream when needed.
- 9. Open a draft pull request using the writing guidance below.
- 10. Monitor checks for the pushed commit.
- 11. For failures, inspect the failing logs, distinguish product failures from infrastructure noise, make only scoped fixes, verify, commit, and push again.
- 12. Continue until checks pass or the same external blocker prevents meaningful progress.
