# Deft Directive (OpenPackage pointer)

Deft is installed via `@deftai/directive` (`directive init`). Full guidelines: `.deft/core/main.md`.

! Before improvising a multi-step workflow, scan `.deft/core/REFERENCES.md` Skills Index and load the matching skill — do not rely on skill enumeration in this file.

⊗ Treat this OpenPackage-deposited AGENTS.md as a skill catalog — tiers and install live in the package README and `deft-tiers.json`.
