Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# @shadowclone/redact Removes secrets and identifying paths from text. Packages call it before text reaches a model, a log, or a report. <!-- package-facts:start --> (generated by `bun run guides`; do not edit by hand) - Package name: `@shadowclone/redact` - Workspace dependencies: `@shadowclone/core` - External dependencies: none - Export subpaths: `.` <!-- package-facts:end --> ## Owns - `src/rules.ts`: the ordered `redactionRules`. Each rule has a label. - `src/entropy.ts`: the Shannon entropy filter for tokens with no known format. - `src/index.ts`: `redactSecrets`, `redactionLabels`, and `materializeSnapshot`. - `src/corpus/`: `secrets.ts` and `benign.ts`, the strings that the tests use. ## Rules - This package depends only on `core`. - Every rule has its own label. A test checks that each rule produces its label. - Redaction is idempotent. A test runs every corpus string through it twice. - Redaction leaves every string in `src/corpus/benign.ts` unchanged. A test checks this. - `redactSecrets` replaces the home folder with `~`. - `materializeSnapshot` returns the parsed value and the redacted text from one read of the file. ## Tests …

How to install
mdr add theonly1me/shadowclone/packages/redact/AGENTS.md@sha256:c505ef28f22a3888The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.95ca1ef, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
