# Working in this repository Read this before changing anything. It is short, and the parts that look pedantic are the ones that have already gone wrong once. ## Shape One rule engine, two consumers. `packages/core` is pure and deterministic; it never reaches the network or the disk from inside a rule. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
