# Vibes-Plug & XERJ MCP Tools Guide for Cursor
Cursor natively connects to the MCP servers configured in `.cursor/mcp.json`.
## Active MCP Servers
### 1. `vibes-plug-tools`
The core developer tooling suite:
- `vibes_critic_validate`: Run deep Critic-in-the-Loop audits on files against anti-slop rules before committing.
- `vibes_eval_sql`: Safely simulate, parse, and dry-run PostgreSQL DDL migrations in-memory.
- `vibes_ast_query`: Query symbol definitions, call graphs, and blast-radius across TypeScript and JavaScript.
- `vibes_verify_invariants`: Verify state machine invariants (e.g. billing statuses, order transitions).
- `vibes_visual_audit`: Audit rendered UI elements against Pillar 7 rules (borders, padding, contrast, 5-state contract).
- `vibes_get_skill` / `vibes_list_skills`: Fetch full skill instructions dynamically during active coding.
### 2. `xerj`
The unified search engine and vector memory store for AI agents:
- `xerj_search`: Fast hybrid text and keyword search across local codebase and documentation.
- `xerj_semantic_search`: Deep vector embedding similarity search across indexed project files.
- `xerj_code_search`: Precision structural code symbol and function search.
- `xerj_memory_store` / `xerj_memory_recall`: Long-term cross-session memory store (`/_memory/{namespace}`).
## Setup in Any Project
To configure these MCP servers for your project in Cursor:
```bash
npx vibes-plug --cursor
# or
vibes mcp:setup --client cursor
```
This generates `.cursor/mcp.json` automatically.
