# agentsync
> One source of truth for every AI coding agent on your machine. Define your MCP servers, memory, skills, subagents, commands, and plugins once, run `agentsync apply`, and they land — correctly translated — in Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex, and more.
agentsync is a single-machine Go CLI. You keep a canonical config (small TOML + markdown, committable to a dotfiles repo); `agentsync apply` renders it into each agent's native config. It is bidirectional: native edits are detected as drift and merged back into the source via `reconcile`/`import` — nothing is overwritten behind your back. Secrets are referenced as `${secret:...}` / `${env:...}` and resolved at apply time from an age-encrypted vault, so cleartext never reaches your committable source. `apply` is offline and deterministic (renders from a local cache); only the fetching commands (`plugin outdated`, `plugin upgrade`, `plugin add`, `marketplace add`, `import <agent>:plugin`, `init <git-url>`) reach the network.
