# `aitesis/` — `/inquire`

**Responsibility under the Northstar** (root `AGENTS.md`). The protocol here elicits unknowns into utterance at the point where a task would otherwise rest on context nobody checked. The AI carries the collecting — everything it can reach on its own — and what only the person can settle is handed back to them as their own open question rather than filled in with a guess.

**Boundary.** `skills/inquire/SKILL.md` is the contract for `/inquire`, and the files in its `references/` are parts of that contract it points to where they apply. `README.md`, `README_ko.md`, and `docs/` explain the protocol to people, and `.claude-plugin/` and `.codex-plugin/` carry what a host needs to list and install it; what the protocol does once invoked is set in the `SKILL.md`.
