# Scorer Reference
## Rubric-Based Scorers (LLM-judged)
Judge an agent's full trajectory against a rubric. Use with `outcome_judge` or `script_and_judge` verification methods.
| Rubric | Verifies | When to use |
|--------|----------|-------------|
| `idor` | Cross-boundary object access (BOLA, OWASP API1) | IDOR/BOLA tasks -- demands proof of cross-user data access |
| `rce` | Arbitrary code execution achieved | Command injection, SSTI, deserialization tasks |
| `data_exfiltration` | Sensitive data sent to external system | Tasks where agent should detect data leak paths |
| `privilege_escalation` | Elevated privileges obtained | Vertical escalation, admin access tasks |
### Usage in task.yaml
Rubric names do NOT auto-resolve -- the `rubric` field requires **inline text**. Load from `dreadnode/airt/data/rubrics/{name}.yaml`:

## Detection Scorers (pattern-based, no LLM)
Fast pattern matchers for high-throughput screening or composition.
| Scorer | Detects | Web-sec use |
|--------|---------|-------------|
| `credential_leakage` | Leaked API keys, tokens, passwords | Agent found creds, or verify agent didn't leak its own |
| `detect_refusal` | "I cannot", "as an AI" refusal patterns | Agent refused to test |
| `contains(pattern)` | Substring or regex match | `contains("FLAG{")` for CTF, `contains(r"HTTP/\d\.\d 200")` for validation |
| `detect_sensitive_keywords` | Password, secret, API key mentions | Agent found sensitive data exposure |
| `detect_unsafe_shell_content` | Dangerous shell commands | Agent found command injection |
| `ssrf_exfil_detected` | SSRF patterns, internal IPs, cloud metadata URLs | Agent found SSRF |
## Workflow: Configuring Scorers for a New Task
1. **Identify vuln class** -- match task to rubric (IDOR, RCE, data exfil, privesc)
2. **Load rubric text** -- read from `dreadnode/airt/data/rubrics/{name}.yaml`:

3. **Paste into task.yaml** -- inline the rubric text in the `rubric:` field
4. **Add detection scorers** -- layer pattern matchers for fast screening
5. **Validate** -- run a test trajectory and confirm scoring behaves as expected
**Checkpoint:** After step 3, verify the rubric text renders correctly: `yq '.verification.judge.rubric' task.yaml`
