## Design system (mandatory before UI work)

**Read [DESIGN.md](./DESIGN.md) before writing any UI in this repo.** It is the authoritative source for tokens (color, typography, components), layout principles, and forbidden additions. Do not introduce new colors, fonts, animation libraries, or component patterns without first checking DESIGN.md.

This portfolio repo is **dark, harness-engineer aesthetic**. Audience: developers and technical reviewers. Surface: Next.js 16 + Tailwind 4 + React 19, static-exported to GH Pages at `mangowhoiscloud.github.io/portfolio`.
