# AWS CloudFormation Lambda Functions
## Overview
Create production-ready Lambda functions using AWS CloudFormation templates. This skill covers Lambda functions with advanced configurations, layers, API Gateway integration, event sources, Step Functions integration, cold start optimization, monitoring and logging, best practices for parameters, outputs, cross-stack references, and Lambda operational excellence.

## Instructions
Follow these steps to create Lambda functions with CloudFormation:
### 1. Define Lambda Function Parameters
Specify runtime, memory, timeout, and environment variables:

### 3. Configure Execution Role

### 4. Add Event Sources
