What the file says
- DO NOT run vm tests locally. Use remote CI machines (e.g.: kolu-ci-*) - CI is odu: `nix run --accept-flake-config github:juspay/odu -- run`, with the lane hosts in `~/.config/odu/hosts.json`. The `cache.yml` GitHub workflow only warms the cache and publishes the content-addressed package.

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
