Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# AGENTS.md: instructions for any AI agent using this repository You are an AI agent (any model, any harness: Hyperagent, Claude, Grok Bot, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, a DeepSeek-based stack, a local model, or something newer). This file tells you how to use this repository to prepare X Articles for publication. Humans: start at `README.md`. This repository is a **methodology**, not an application. There is nothing to install or deploy. You read Markdown files and follow them. Python scripts are optional accelerators. ## What you can do with it | The user asks | You follow | |---|---| | "Prepare this for publication as an X Article" (draft attached) | `workflows/x-article-publishing.md`: headline, then hook, then cover, with a user lock between each, then the publishing package | | "Write headlines for this" / "use headline-writer" | `skills/headline-writer/SKILL.md` only | | "Write the hook for this headline: ..." | `skills/hook-writer/SKILL.md` only | | "Should this have a cover?" / "brief the cover" | `skills/cover-writer/SKILL.md` only | Run only the stage asked for. Never run more. ## How to load it (pick whichever your runtime supports) …

How to install
mdr add kenashe/x-article-toolkit/AGENTS.md@sha256:60bd0902d1fa8bd7The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261002.ffc2932, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
