Use on Pi with Freeflow task memory on, when the user asks about tasks or projects (list, open, create, switch, split) or the work needs a Working Record attached, read from another task, or written after a refusal. Track Work decides what a record says.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Task Memory With task memory on, a Pi session holds the Working Records it works on. Attached records are the ones this session may write; one attached record is the focus, the one the conversation is about. A record may be registered in a project, with an ID such as `my-project/task-003` and one owning session; registered tasks can have child records, each worked in its own session. Freeflow lists attached records in the Runtime State under `Task Memory:`, delivers the focused record's resume view when it becomes the focus or context is rebuilt, and refuses writes to records the session has not attached. [Track Work](../../skills/track-work/SKILL.md) still decides whether a task needs a record and what a record says; this skill covers how the session holds records and how the user's requests about tasks and projects become `task_memory` actions. A repository linked to a project, and each child's worktree, has `.freeflow/project`: a link to the project's store, so the user can open and edit its records in the editor. A path under it names the same record as the task ID; reach records by task ID and `task_memory` actions, not by listing that folder. …

How to install
mdr add hassan-mohiddin/freeflow/task-memory@sha256:f923ba5e8886c08dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261011.de3def1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
