Use when reviewing templates, rendered HTML, or shared components related to Make drag and drop accessible. Validate the final browser-facing markup, not just the source framework abstraction.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Make drag and drop accessible Drag and drop is mouse-dependent by default—keyboard and screen reader users are completely locked out without proper alternatives and ARIA announcements. ## Quick Reference - Always provide keyboard alternatives to drag and drop - Use aria-grabbed and aria-dropeffect (or newer attributes) - Announce drag operations to screen readers via live regions - Support both mouse/touch and keyboard interaction patterns ## Check Verify drag and drop interfaces have keyboard alternatives, proper ARIA attributes, and live region announcements. ## Fix Implement keyboard alternatives (arrow keys, Enter/Space), aria-grabbed, aria-dropeffect, and status announcements. ## Explain Explain how accessible drag and drop implementations provide equivalent functionality for keyboard and screen reader users. ## Code Review Review templates, server-rendered HTML, and shared components that output markup related to Make drag and drop accessible. Flag exact elements, attributes, and routes where the rendered HTML violates the rule. --- For full implementation details, code examples, and framework-specific guidance, see `references/rule.md`. …

How to install
mdr add thedaviddias/front-end-checklist/draggable-accessibility@sha256:ec016b6ead9e0686The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261004.4b0ddb9, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
