Write or edit an Eklavya concept pack — a JSON file of concepts, tiers and prerequisites that adds a domain, or a team's own codebase, to what Eklavya can quiz on.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# /eklavya:pack [domain or repo] Eklavya ships four graphs — git, node-backend, react, web-auth. A **pack** is the same file shape, written by someone else, merged over the shipped ones. It is how Rust or Kubernetes gets added without a pull request to Eklavya, and how a team teaches its own codebase. Two places, and the difference is the whole decision: | Where | Who it is for | |---|---| | `~/.eklavya/packs/*.json` | them, on every project | | `~/.eklavya/projects/<checkout>/packs/*.json` | them, on this codebase | The project one is the interesting half. A pack that describes a codebase's own concepts and prerequisites is onboarding rather than quizzing. Ask which one they want before writing anything. **Never write into the checkout.** Both directories are under the developer's home, and Eklavya creates no files in a project — not settings, not packs. A pack used to go to `<repo>/.eklavya/packs/`, committed; that directory is still **read**, so a repository that already ships one keeps working, but nothing writes there any more and nothing deletes what is there. …

How to install
mdr add projectaj14/eklavya/pack@sha256:cf2102ec5b04aea6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260922.4b510f5, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
