Use when the user invokes /goal-flight init or asks to start a durable Goal Flight run and scaffold project-local state for long-running orchestrated repository work.

# goal-flight-init Use this skill when the user asks for `/goal-flight init <topic>` or wants to start a durable Goal Flight run for a repository task. ## Steps 1. Read the repository `AGENTS.md` first when present. 2. Read the repository root `SKILL.md` as the canonical Goal Flight workflow. 3. Read `commands/init.md` and the protocols it references. 4. Treat the user's remaining text as the init topic. 5. Run only the procedural checks and file-backed setup that `commands/init.md` requires. Keep queue, ledger, review, and handoff artifacts file-backed. Return paths and a compact readiness summary.

How to install
mdr add simonrowland/goal-flight/goal-flight-init@sha256:e756ca182b2c3a40The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260902.bb4e9d9, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
