Delegate a sub-task to a Cursor agent. Use when a task is better handled by a Cursor agent (e.g. complex file editing, multi-step coding tasks, research with web access).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
Use the `cursor-agents` MCP tools to break work into sub-tasks and delegate them to Cursor agents.
## Synchronous delegation (need result now)
Use `cursor_run` when you need the output before continuing:

Returns `{ text: "<agent output>", stop_reason: "..." }`.
## Background delegation (parallel work)
Use `cursor_task_submit` to fire off tasks and continue working:
1. Submit one or more tasks:

2. Check status:

## Writing good prompts for Cursor agents
- Include full context — the agent has no knowledge of what you've done so far
- Specify the working directory if the task involves files

How to install
mdr add brainrot-creations/plugins/delegate@sha256:ccae6b4621ccb158The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260504.58ccc5f, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
