Control this machine's Docker or Podman engine through the docker_* tools - read the engine's state first, list containers and images, inspect one, tail its logs, pull an image and start it, then stop, restart or remove what you started. Covers the engine that is asleep behind Docker Desktop and the exact call for each verb, the confirm rule removals obey, and the flags the tools deliberately do not have.

How to install
mdr add vecnode/vn-code/docker-cli@sha256:834f2e3b307ac752The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.180a84e, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
