# Orchflows: design and operating model
Orchflows is a library of Markdown procedures for agents with native subagents. It separates **the work requested**, **the process to follow**, and **the standard of quality**. Users reuse small workflows inside larger ones and change model-specific guidance without rebuilding the process.
This is the human design report. [Agent contracts](docs/architecture.md) own execution rules; [host documentation](docs/hosts.md) owns platform details. Development history stays in the local, ignored `design/` directory.

How to install
mdr add danmcinerney/orchflows/DESIGN.md@sha256:17b8ab346d520349The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260923.6e9ec92, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
