Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Knowledge Vault ## Project Discovery 1. Resolve the project root from the nearest Git root, project metadata, or working directory. 2. Resolve the project identity in this order: - `.project-agent.md` - explicit project metadata - package/project name - Git repository name - root directory name 3. Normalize the identifier for filesystem use: - lowercase - trim whitespace - convert spaces and underscores to hyphens - remove unsafe characters - collapse repeated hyphens 4. Resolve the knowledge root to: `~/Documents/KnowledgeVault/<project-identifier>/` unless `.project-agent.md` explicitly overrides it. 5. Keep global Overgeared Skills configuration project-agnostic. This precedence is implemented in `src/discovery/resolve.mjs` and enforced, not merely described. Call `gentjin_discovery` with action `resolve` rather than resolving by hand, so the record and the enforced behavior cannot drift apart. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
