Token details, trending tokens, OHLCV candlestick data, and top traders — requires API key auth (Bearer token).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # GDEX: Token Discovery
Research tokens with price data, market metrics, trending rankings, candlestick charts, and top trader leaderboards.
> **Auth required:** All token discovery endpoints (except `/v1/token_details`) return 403 "Access denied: Invalid client" without a Bearer token. Always call `loginWithApiKey()` first.
## When to Use
- Looking up token price, market cap, volume, liquidity, and socials
- Finding trending tokens on a specific chain
- Getting OHLCV candlestick data for charting or analysis
- Researching a token before buying (DEX info, security audit, holder count)

How to install
mdr add gemachdao/gdex-skill/gdex-token-discovery@sha256:70242f2c7e5d73d2The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261002.e5a5a95, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
