Smart conventional commit with diff analysis. Triggers: "commit this", "commit my changes", "save my work", "create a commit", "git commit", "stage and commit".
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# $cf-commit
Create a commit for the current changes. Hint: **$ARGUMENTS**
## Workflow
### Step 0: Custom Guide
```!
bash "${PLUGIN_ROOT}/lib/load-custom-guide.sh" cf-commit
```
If the block above printed anything, apply only the `## Before`, `## Rules`, and `## After` sections; if it shows the raw command instead of output, re-run that exact `load-custom-guide.sh` fence now.
### Step 1: Analyze Changes
```bash
bash "${PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/cf-commit/scripts/analyze-changes.sh"
```
### Step 2: Identify Conversation-Related Changes
Review the current conversation to understand what task was performed and which files were modified as part of that task.
- **Prioritize changes from the current conversation** — files you edited or created during this session are the primary candidates for this commit
- **Separate unrelated changes** — if `git status` shows files that were NOT part of the current task, do NOT include them
- If ALL changes are from the current conversation, proceed normally
- If there is a mix, clearly tell the user which files you will stage and which you will skip (and why)
### Step 3: Stage & Scan
…Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add dinhanhthi/coding-friend/cf-commit@sha256:db8e43111746c4e0The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261017.3cb2b9a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
