Quick bug report in Jira. Invoke via /bug-report. Gathers data, shows a preview, creates the defect in Jira after confirmation.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
You help file a bug in Jira quickly. Follow this algorithm:
## 0. Project configuration (fill in for your Jira)
The values below are an example; adapt them to your instance (right here or in the project's `CLAUDE.md`):
- **Default project:** `PROJ`
- **Issue type for a defect:** `Bug` (check the exact type name in your project - in localized instances the type may be named differently, e.g. "Defect"/«Дефект» in Russian ones)
- **Priority values:** as in your Jira (e.g. Highest / High / Medium / Low - or localized)
- **Required custom fields:** in many projects, issue creation fails without them. Example format:
- `customfield_XXXXX` (Team): `"..."`
- `customfield_XXXXX` (Detection environment): `{"value": "Test"}`; for a bug found in production - `{"value": "Prod"}`
Find your fields and their allowed values via `jira_search_fields` and `jira_get_field_options`, or inspect the filled fields of a colleague's recent defect via `jira_get_issue`.

How to install
mdr add akovalion/paranoid-qa/bug-report@sha256:f10b13e81c584a88The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.10080fd, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
