Score and rank a backlog of GitHub issues by reach, impact, confidence, and effort (RICE).

# Prioritize Issues Scores and ranks open GitHub issues using the RICE framework (Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort) to produce a backlog sorted by highest value first. ## Prerequisites - Apply the shared SDLC conventions in `skills/sdlc/references/shared.md`. - If no argument is provided, operate on `$REPO`. - `gh` CLI authenticated with read access to the target repository - Repository in `owner/repo` format (`$1`), or omit to infer from the current working directory ## RICE Scoring **RICE score = (Reach × Impact × Confidence) / Effort** | Factor | Scale | Description | |---|---|---| | Reach | 1–10 | How many users are affected per period | | Impact | 1–5 | Effect on the goal (1=minimal, 5=massive) | | Confidence | 0.5–1.0 | How confident we are in the estimates | | Effort | 0.5–5 | Person-weeks of work required | ## Steps 1. How to install
mdr add tomzx/agents/prioritize-issues@sha256:d2abd055f7f22a92The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.b35fc4b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
