Use this skill when scaffolding the minimum repository structure required by session-orchestrator. Invoked automatically by the Bootstrap Gate when CLAUDE.md, Session Config, or bootstrap.lock is missing. Also available as /bootstrap for manual invocation. Three intensity tiers: fast (demos/spikes), standard (MVPs), deep (production/team).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Bootstrap Skill ## Invocation The user invokes `/bootstrap` with arguments: **$ARGUMENTS**. Direct invocation runs with `INVOCATION_MODE = direct` (see § Invocation Context) and is standalone: after bootstrap completes, report the files created and the git commit hash, and do NOT automatically continue into any other skill. **TL;DR — for first-time users:** Run `/bootstrap` with no flags. The skill auto-detects the right tier (fast/standard/deep) from your repo, recommends one with a one-line reason, then walks a **fixed questionnaire** — tier/stack (1–2 prompts), owner persona (5), dispatcher autonomy (1); **7–9 prompts** on a first-run full bootstrap. How to install
mdr add kanevry/session-orchestrator/bootstrap@sha256:8f25f567bea10d68The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261021.728a583, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
